Saturday: 3:00 pm
Lenten Day of Recollection
Ash Wednesday this year is on March 6th; three and a half weeks away.
As in past years, we will have a Lenten Day of Recollection, Saturday, March 16th from 9:00 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m.
A day for reflection about the Holy Season of Lent in our lives.
The registration sheet is in the vestibule today and the next four Sundays. Sign up today and mark the day on your calendars.
In the past, the group was largely senior citizens and mostly women. Middle-aged parishioners/friends and younger men and women are also invited to consider this wonderful pouring forth of lenten grace.
Our speaker this year will be Fr. Vito Martinez, a Capuchin friar from Chicago.
No charge, but a freewill offering box will be available for donations to hopefully cover costs for breakfast and lunch.
